ASSESSED PROJECT WORK I
1.0 TOPIC
Introduction to Sustainable Development
2.0 OBJECTIVES
- Interpret the concept of Sustainable Development
- Share knowledge and experience of Sustainable Development practices
3.0 METHOD
- Students are required to work individually and write their own view on Sustainable Development not exceeding 100 words.
- Students shall form groups of five (05) members and review literature to find three (03) definitions on Sustainable Development from Books, Journals, Conference proceedings and Reports published by recognized bodies.
- Students shall submit three (03) definitions with references (Follow APA reference system) for the approval of lectures.
- Critically review approved definitions, by comparing similarities, differences between definitions and then compare with the own views of group members.
- Interpret sustainable development and write a statement to define sustainable development within your group based on the critical review above.
- Publish your own view, critical review and group interpretation/statement via following link http://greendiarybe.blogspot.com/ to the ‘Green Diary’ blog created for the Sustainable Development module.
