Strategies of Sustainable use of resources

  

“Using the all resources in present without compromising the ability for future generation to meet their own needs” it is major thing of sustainable use of resources. According to the above statement we should conserve the all resources for the future generation because scarcity of the resources, when we use the resources continuously it will reduce in long time also it helps to depletion of the resources and it pollute the environment during the extraction.  so we should conserve the resources. In the construction resources there are construction material, energy sources and water. When we consider the use of conventional construction materials, there are some strategies that we can use to conserve the resources such as:

-Recycle

·         Using local regional materials

·         Using renewable and nonrenewable materials

We can follow different strategies for different usage of conventional building material due to the construction.

cement	Can reduce the quantity of cement by using efficiency.	It is local regional material, mostly it available in our country	Nonrenewable material	·         Cement is a nonrenewable material, during the generation of cement there are many disadvantages but in our country we can get easily there for transportation cost also less.
steel	Can reuse and recycle	Local regional material	Nonrenewable material	·         After end of the life time of the steel we can use as       -Reuse of the entire building, building structure, or other parts of the building and new building with limited modifications. And also it is local regional material. We can get easily.
concrete	Can recycle	Local regional material.	Nonrenewable material	·         Can recycle the concrete, it is crushed, the reinforcement bar is removed, and the material is screened for size. Market outlets for recycled concrete include road base, general fill, pavement aggregate, and drainage media. And it is a local regional material.
water	Can Reduce, Reuse and Recycle	Local regional material	Renewable material	·         We can reduce consumption of the unnecessary water and also can reuse the water to agricultural purposes by treating the waste water.
